FLOWave SAW FLOW METER
Harco offers the Bürkert Type 8098 FLOWave SAW Flow Meter, designed for applications with the highest hygienic standards. Utilizing Surface Acoustic Waves (SAW) technology, this flow meter features stainless steel construction and a measuring tube free of any wetted parts, ensuring optimal hygiene.
Furthermore, the Bürkert Type 8098 FLOWave SAW flow meter boasts a range of integrated functions. These include flexibility, ease of cleaning, compact dimensions, lightweight construction, easy installation and handling, and compliance with numerous standards.
It delivers optimal measurement results with homogeneous liquids free of air and solid particles. For high-viscosity liquids, an integrated viscosity compensation can be activated. Although gas and steam cannot be measured, they do not negatively impact the device’s operation, ensuring accurate measurements for subsequent liquids.
In addition to volume flow, the FLOWave SAW Flow Meter offers an optional density measurement feature, enabling mass flow calculations. Special functions like the differentiation factor (DF) and acoustic transmission factor provide additional information about the liquid being measured.
