FLUX F/FP 427 FOOD SANITARY BARREL PUMPS

Harco proudly presents the FLUX F/FP 427 FOOD sanitary barrel pumps, a fully dismountable solution with no mechanical seal. Operating on the axial-flow propeller principle, this pump unit comprises a drive motor and a pump. Specifically, the motor, connected via a clutch, powers a drive shaft with a propeller-like impeller at its end. For effective pumping, the impeller must be fully submerged in the fluid. As a result, the rotating impeller moves the fluid axially along the pump shaft towards the discharge point.

In these seal-less FLUX F/FP 427 FOOD barrel pumps, the fluid travels along the shaft and into the inner tube, maintaining the same level as in the barrel. Consequently, as the barrel empties, the fluid levels in both the barrel and inner tube drop, allowing the fluid to exit through the relief openings.

Moreover, the FLUX F/FP 427 FOOD barrel pump is perfect for hygienic applications, efficiently transferring media from drums, totes, IBCs, and other containers. Constructed with stainless steel (316 Ti / 1.4581) for the drive shaft, inner, and outer tubes, these pumps are available in FOOD/FDA and 3A Certified versions, adhering to international safety standards. Furthermore, designed to meet the stringent requirements of the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries, these models are versatile for both mobile and fixed installations.
