Harco offers the Bürkert Type 8692 Electro-Pneumatic Positioner, a high-performance solution for decentralized automation of ELEMENT Type 21xx pneumatic process valves. Specifically, it features a contact-free analogue sensor for valve position registration, which automatically detects and stores end positions via the Teach function during start-up. In addition, the integrated pilot valve manages both single and double-acting actuators, with optional interfaces including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, PROFIBUS DP-V1, and büS (based on CANopen).
Moreover, the Bürkert Type 8692 is engineered with internal control air routing, eliminating the need for external tubing. Its bright LED indicators provide clear, real-time device status even in harsh ambient conditions, while electrical feedback ensures precise control.
Additionally, with an easy-to-clean stainless steel housing, the Bürkert Type 8692 provides proven IP protection and uses chemically resistant materials—making it ideal for hygienic processing in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. For wash-down applications, its IP rating is further enhanced by internal positive pressure. When combined with Bürkert ELEMENT actuators, the system enables spring chamber aeration to prevent contamination from external environments.
